Looking for Holiday Package Specials for January 2011?
Well the Christmas rush is over, with most people having gone away and returned. As long as you are traveling after the 15th January, you should be able to find a pretty decent deal, as this is when the peak travel period ends. Ok, so where to go in January? Our recommendations would be (to stay local) Cape Town, Durban, George or Magaliesburg; (to stay kinda-local) you could go to Vic Falls, Zanzibar or one of the magnificent islands in Mozambique; (or internationally), brave the cold in London, or go skiing in Europe as the snow ill still be around but the crowds won’t. We also reckon there’ll be a few flight specials happening from the low cost airlines in January, so if you can hold out from making your booking until then, then try and see.
